NM-B/NMD-90 Building Cable

Description
NM-B/NMD-90 series building cable is usually used as shunt of sockets, switches and other electrical loads in buildings. This nylon jacket cable can be used in dry or wet working conditions at an operating voltage of 600 V and rated temperature of 90 °C. This product meets the AWM (equipment wiring material) specifications and passes UL-MTW (machine tool wire) certification. Therefore, this product can be applied to machine tools industry. The building cable also complies with UL 83 and UL719 standard.

Properties
1. This building cable is more suitable for building wiring than normal BV, BV-90 and BVVB cables which are insulated by single PVC layer.
2. The cable is good looking and has high quality nylon insulation.
3. This machine tool wire features excellent thermal stability, mechanical strength, bending strength, impact strength, surface hardness, and self-lubricating ability.
4. NM-B/NMD-90 building cable has good performance in resisting cold, abrasion, chemicals, oil and gasoline.
5. Cable surface is very bright and smooth. This cable is easy to be laid in pipe.
6. This product meets CSA standards, so that the cable can also be used in North American market.

Main Components
1. Conductor of this building cable meets ASTM-B3/B8 standard. It is made of solid or multi-strand 14-2/0AWG fine bare copper wire.
2. Cores are insulated by PVC. Jacket insulation material is transparent nylon.
3. Drain wire is coated by special paper and lies between cores. The drain wire meets ASTM-B3/B8 standard.
4. Cores of the building cable lie in parallel or are twisted into cylinder shape.
5. Cable jacket is made of special heat-resistant thermoplastic (colors can be customized).
