Description
THHN/THWN-2 series building cable can be installed in pipeline, machine tools, home appliances and various control systems under an operating voltage of 600 V and rated temperature of 90 °C. This building cable has nylon insulation. This product is suitable for many ways of installation, such as indoor, outdoor, over head, pipeline, cable tray, and direct burying at a voltage of not more than 600 V.
This type of building cable can be used in hazardous environments of NEC Level I, Level II and Class Two. Operating temperature is 75 ℃ in wet environment, 90 ℃ in wet environment, 130 °C in overload emergency, 250 ℃ in short circuit. It is advised not to directly connect this building cable to DC circuit in wet environment.
The nylon jacket cable passes UL MTW (machine tool wire) ​​certification. Therefore, this cable can be applied to machine tool industry. It also complies with UL 83 and UL1581 standards.

Properties of THHN/THWN-2 Building Wire
1. The nylon jacket cable excellently prevents termite and rat damage. It can withstand high temperature of 200°C.
2. This type of building cable is eco-friendly. The product is the best choice for lighting wires and power supply wires in house decorating work.
3. With light weight and smooth surface, the building wire is easy to be laid in pipe.
4. With nylon jacket, the building cable has beautiful appearance and barely deforms under heat.
5. This building wire features excellent mechanical strength, flexural strength, and impact strength.  It has good surface hardness and self-lubricating ability. It also can excellently resist abrasion, cold, chemicals, oil, and gasoline.
6. The building cable is an upgraded cable product for home decoration work and is widely used in the U.S. and Europe. Nylon sheath is an effective solution to fire accidents which is often caused by using common electric wire.
7. The nylon jacket building cable is one of the scientific and technological achievements popularized by State Ministry of Construction. The products will gradually replace the traditional BV and BVR PVC cables.
8. According to using experience and test results, nylon jacket cable has a lifespan of more than 40 years that is two times the lifespan of common PVC insulation cables.

Components
1. Solid or multi-strand 14-2/0 AWG fine copper conductor meets ASTM-B3/B8 standard.
2. Core Insulation is made of flame-retardant PVC with high dielectric strength. It meets UL1581 standard (colors can be customized).
3. The building cable’s insulating sheath is made of THHN/THWN nylon which meets UL1581 standard.
4. Fillings are added into cables which have three cores or more. Nylon cord is added to the inner side of jacket to protect the cable.
5. Sun-proof and gas-proof PVC core sheath meets UL 1277standard (colors can be customized).
