THW/THHW Building Wire
Description
THW/THHW series building wire can be installed in machine tools, home appliances and various electric control systems. Operating voltage is not more than 600V. This product is a fire resistant wire usually laid in pipeline. The machine tool wire is suitable for installations in indoor, outdoor, overhead, pipeline, cable tray, and direct burying conditions. This product can be used in hazardous environments NEC Level I, Level II and class 2. Working temperature of this building wire is 75 ℃ in wet environment, and 90 ℃ in dry environment, 130 °C in overload emergency, and 250 ℃ in short-circuit. It is not recommended to directly connect this wire to DC circuit in wet environment.
Properties
1. This cable can excellently resist heat and it has superior safety performance.
2. The building wire is eco-friendly and it produces no harm to surroundings. It can be used in home decorating device, power supply and lighting.
3. The product meets AWM (appliance wiring materials) standards of specifications and passes UL (MTW) certification. Therefore, this building wire is fully applicable in the machine tools industry. This cable also meets UL 83 and UL1581 standard.
Main Components
1. Conductor of the building wire is made of solid or multi-strand 14-2/0AWG fine bare copper wire. The conductor meets ASTM-B3/B8 standard.
2. Core insulation is made of PVC material. Its fire-resistant quality meets UL 1581 standards.
3. Colors of the cable can be customized.

NM-B/NMD-90 series building cable is usually used on shunts in buildings houses, sockets, switches and other electrical loads. Operating voltage for this nylon insulated cable is 600 V and rated operating temperature is 90 °C. This building cable can be used in both dry and wet environments. The building wire not only meets the AWM (equipment wiring material) specifications, but also passes the UL MTW (machine tool wire) certification.
